My sister graduated last night with her Masters of Arts in Teaching (intervention specialist: mild to moderate)!!!
I am so, so, so proud of the hard work, dedication, sleepless nights…stress…that went towards this! She put so much effort and heart into this degree and her student teaching; I admire her tremendously for that.
Of course I will now share pictures from this great life accomplishment…
Molly receiving her diploma, well sort of…for some reason they graduate but then have two more weeks until they are completely finished with student teaching/projects…so the REAL diploma will come in the mail.
Besides being choked by her “hood” this is a pretty cute picture…she looks so happy!
And more pictures…
After graduation we asked Molly if she had to go somewhere and pick up the rest of her things…phone, etc…and she explained she didn’t know what to do with her stuff so she used the weird hanging things on her sleeves as pockets. Notice the random fabric hanging…on the left she had lip gloss, on the right her cell phone…only Molly. (although it is pretty smart, what are those wing like flaps for anyway???)
For your viewing pleasure…this is what i got to look at instead of Molly parading in to the ceremony,
SUPER hungry butts!
I mean, can’t they feel that…they seriously stood like that for a good 10 minutes!
Needless to say I couldn’t stop giggling uncontrollably, Joe thought I was completely nuts (but really he was laughing inside too) and in the end I did what any normal person would do….took a picture, ha!
So, yeah the ceremony was pretty short and we celebrated by doing what Americans do…going out to dinner :) I can’t wait to see where Molly’s career takes her, but I can tell you one thing, she is soooo good at what she does because she has experience, education and most importantly…she loves it and is passionate about it. So happy for her!!
And now I will awkwardly transition into a random thoughts/find…
The picture below is a little drink i discovered the other day and can’t get enough of!!! I have been trying to cut back on my diet pop intake…(I am not super bad but just know the fake stuff in it is not good for me) so I tried this stuff out.
It is amazing!!!
I have convinced myself that what I really crave and love from drinking a pop with lunch is the fizz, so i substitute with this sparkling fruit water. It is by the same people that make Vitamin Water and Smart Water (both of which I love) and the best part, besides the great taste, is that is has ZERO calories. On top of that, is also contains good stuff like Zinc, Vit. B6, green tea extract, magnesium…so it is WAAAAYYYY better for me then diet pop.
Give it a try and let me know what you think.
Hope everyone has a great weekend…sources say, and by sources I mean the weather channel, that the low this weekend here in unpredictable Ohio is
Uggg, I am not prepared for that kind of cold. At any rate, if you live in Ohio try and stay warm…and no matter where you live have a great weekend!
